Represent and advocate for business owners, property owners, and relevant stakeholders within the downtown community. We’re committed to establishing clear lines of communication with non-profit organizations, neighborhood associations, community groups, and public sector entities.
WHY WE EXIST
Our Core Focus
▪ Enhance Downtown Tuscaloosa as a center for commerce, a destination for visitors, and an asset to the residents of Tuscaloosa
▪ Create and enhance downtown events/festivals
▪ Advocate on behalf of our members
▪ Create clear lines of communication among all relevant stakeholders
▪ Initiate and maintain the ongoing beautification and enhancement of the downtown area
▪ Engage with public sector and relevant stakeholders on short term and long term planning initiatives
▪ Create and enhance partnerships with the City of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa Sports & Tourism, West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, Tuscaloosa County, local universities, and neighborhood associations
